Well, my last weekend in Belgium was hit and miss. I didn't do anything much other than party both Friday and Saturday nights. I was supposed to do some packing and organizing for my departure this Friday, but was too busy going out both nights and being too hung-over both days :)
Started on Friday night when I caught the train into Brussels for La Demance. This is the big party I think I have told you about a few times. It was my third time there. It's not the best crowd being over 75% muscle and/or big boys, but it is quite the party. It's also in a great venue, and luckily this time there was quite a few more cute guys than the last two times. I was meeting a guy from Netherlands, but didn't run into him until an hour or so after I got there.
There was actually not much exciting that happened, no funny stories or anything. It is such a small world though, that I did manage to run into a cute boy from Vancouver. It just goes to show you how increadibly small the world is. If I understand correctly he came specifically to Brussels for that party too! He's only lived in Vancouver for 4 months (I think), so we didn't seem to know anyone in common, but I'm sure there are some people.
I also made out with a really hot tall skinny boy, but only for a very short time before he was off for the night. Must have been late at night, but by that time can't remember evrything. I do think I remember doing a very bad thing the second time in my life. I must have been really stupid drunk because I think I told him at some point about my obsession with skinny boys, but worded it (as I usually do) by calling him "anorexic and belimic". I remember I did this once before, I think at DTPM in London? Luckily Scott was there to point out to me that it's not a very nice thing to say about a person. I would have been clueless if he didn't enlighten me. Because to me it's a compliment, but to an overly skinny boy I guess they would probably not see it that way. I'm such a huge duffus sometimes!! Will I ever have control over my mouth on nights out??
One other interesting thing was "underwear boy". He seemed in his early 20s, fairly cute, nice swimmer body. You know that type when you are that age. Any ways, he spent the entire night in only a pair of shoes and his clean white underwear breifs. You know the kind you used to wear when you were a kid. Or the kind Larry actually still wears! Only Larry's are not new, but old and all worn out and look like old Grandpa underwear! They are quite freaky. Sorry Larry, but you really do need to buy new underwear :) So any ways, underwear boy also spent a lot of the time dancing on the stages. It was very bizarre. If I didn't know any better I would almost have though he was a dancer, but no he was a regular customer, in his underwear, umongst all the otherwise clothed people. Of course tons of people take off their shirts, why can't someone take off their pants as well if they are so inclined?? I wasn't objecting, it provided some needed entertainment.
So, not much else happened. I think I left around 8-8:30. I know I caught the 9am train to Antwerp. Then it was pretty much comatosed all Saturday day. I should have done something, but was thinking of going out one last night in Antwerp. I wanted to go to this bar I only went to once. But unfortunately I slept too late and woke up at one point at about 2:30am. Still thought I had better go out though or would be up all night. So although missed the bar, I knew the main club in Antwerp is open till 8am, so still lots of time to go there. I should have went to the bar anyways though, because Red&Blue was dead. Even worse than the other two times i went there. Very boring, nothing going on. It was "Salvation" from London too, which when Me, Scott and Joe went in London was EXTEAMLY popular. Oh well, still managed to drink far too much. At one point I bought the bartenters a round of Tequilla shooters and it was all down hill from there. Don't remember what time I got home, before 7 or 8 I imagine as it was very dead in the club. But then I had to suffer Sunday as two nights in a row were not nice at all on my stomach. Even yesterday on Monday I was not felling well and went home early. Not good when a weekend interfers with my work week! But Today, Tuesday I am fine. Yeash! Africa calling...
